So...what is Quiz Bowl? And why should I play?
Quiz Bowl is a fast-paced team buzzer game that tests academic knowledge.
Subjects covered include literature, pop culture, mythology, or pretty much
anything you might be interested in. It is NOT trivia ("how fast does a blade
of grass grow?") - the game primarily seeks to reward those with an
intellectual thirst and real knowledge that's actually taught in schools.
In a typical game, 2 teams of ~4-5 people go head-to-head in answering questions.
You can learn more about it here: https://www.naqt.com/about/quiz-bowl.html or
by attending our first meeting on Aug 25th! (photo credits to NAQT)
